• These locks will now feature a high impact plastic “housing” for the armature plate. The housings will include built-in permanent magnets at each end for door status switch activation when the DSM option is ordered. Magnets are included at both ends of the housing so it cannot be oriented wrong when mounted. The armature anti-rotation pins are now eliminated as the housing fully captures the armature. This also eliminates two drilled holes in the door. (Installers should love this feature!) Included in the housing are two foam pads, which help silence the sound of the armature engaging with the lock face. The housing produces a better appearance aesthetically and provides an easier installation of the armature. (Note: This design change does not apply to split armatures.
• We have redesigned the Top Jamb (TJ) brackets to provide a more pleasing appearance. The bracket length has also been increased to match the length of the maglocks. All brackets will accommodate the new armature housing.
