Happy Holidays!
We wish you a happy and safe holiday season and a prosperous new year, from your friends at DynaLock.
Product Improvements
A while back we asked our readers for "suggestions from the field" to help us improve our products. Well, the response has been
great! Here are some of the improvements that were suggested and that we acted on:
- Make the 2585, 2600 and 2013 maglocks dual voltage. We did - flying leads now make these locks configurable in the
field for 12 or 24VDC.
- Make the 2013 Gate Lock leads longer. We did - leads are now six feet long.
- Make the 3000 Series top jamb mounts "dust proof". We did - 3000TJ locks and TJ kits now come with a blank FasTrak plate to
seal the top of the lock against dust incursion.
- Don't always have a 3/16 hex wrench. O.K. - we now include one in the 2000/3000LC lock hardware pack in addition to the
3000's.
And here's the best part - no extra charge for any of these improvements. By the way ... thanks for your input. And from now on
for every suggestion you send in, and we use, we will send you a DynaLock stainless steel coffee mug.

Tech Tips
3101B - Day/Night Mode
The 3101B Delay Egress System is one of our biggest sellers. Its popularity is due to the fact that it restores some security
on emergency egress doors. But there are times when it is desired to deactivate the delay unlock cycle. One scenario is to
deactivate the delay cycle during nighttime hours for added security.
Installation or our Day/Night Mode Kit allows switching from delayed egress operation during daytime hours to a standard magnetic
lock operation during nighttime hours.
This prevents triggering the delay egress cycle from the exterior during hours with little or no supervision. If the opening is
a designated egress door provisions must be made for releasing the magnet at nighttime, following applicable egress codes.
A maintained action SPST normally open contact is all that is required to switch from delay egress to standard operation. The
kit consists of a two pin connector with 12 inch leads and installation instructions. Part number 301064, List Price $12.
The actual switch may be a keypad, card reader, or our 7050 keyswitch which is identical to the key cylinder built into the 3101B lock.
