November 2006
Hello
Once again it is that time of year to review our product pricing. Although some of our competitors have had mid-year increases we have been able to maintain 2006 pricing through the year.
As you are well aware material, labor, medical and transportation costs have all sharply risen in the last 12 months. Our new List Price Book No. 9 will take effect January 1, 2007. Price increases will average around 5 percent. We feel this is a modest increase; still maintaining the competitive value of our products.
Price Book No. 9 is available to you from our website - go there now to request a copy or download it - or contact us directly or notify your area DynaLock sales representative.
We appreciate your business and look forward to providing your company the finest electric locking products and customer service.
Best regards,
John L. Schum

The "Beast" has arrived!
All 15,000 pounds of it. It is our brand new Okuma computer managed machining center. What a monster. All assembled it will take up about 17x10 feet of floor space. It provides an automatic tool chamber (32 different tools) for high speed milling, boring, drilling and tapping. Along with our six other CNC machines we can considerably up our production power. We do have room for two more of these machines so keep those orders rolling in!
Here are some pictures of what it takes to get one of these machines into a building. We thought you might be curious.

Tech Tips
Lock Handing
All doors have a handing - left hand or right hand. This refers to the way a door
swings and what side the hinges are on. It's important to know the handing when choosing a maglock to install,
if you want the best match for your opening.
Typically, it's best to have the wiring cavity of a maglock towards the center of the frame, with the coil closest to the
edge of the door. This increases holding performance and simplifies wiring. By telling us how the door is handed,
we can build our 3000 Series lock to match. The 3000 Series offers the ability to change hands in the field or specify
handing by adding RHR or LHR to
the model number when ordering. RHR stands for Right Hand Reverse / LHR is Left Hand Reverse. Inswing locks use
LH or RH - Left Hand / Right Hand. Follow the link below to find the
swing of your door - then order your next 3000 Series maglock with the proper handing!
