The offset armature (OFA) is designed to eliminate interference problems occasionally encountered when installing electromagnetic locks on narrow-stile aluminum and glass door assemblies.
The offset armature mounting holes are positioned 1/4" off center. This allows a higher centerline for the mounting hardware, thus avoiding interference with the glass and door structure.
The OFA may be ordered as an option with any 2000 or 3000 series electromagnetic lock, at no additional cost.
