The 3006 Free-Egress Series is a full size 1500 lbs. holding force electromagnetic lock. It features Fast-Trak mounting for ease of installation. 12 or 24 VDC/VAC power is the only requirement for basic operation. Save time and labor with this all-in-one package.

The 3006 mounts on an out swinging door, left or right handed (field selectable). Typically, the door is closed and magnetically locked. When an individual attempting to egress approaches the door, the built-in passive infrared sensor (PIR) releases the door. Access is achieved by either removing power (two wire control) or using the access input with adjustable relock delay. Other inputs include external egress and PIR disable.

The PIR can be maintained for up to an hour without power, allowing two wire control only. Outputs include optional door status monitor (DSM), Dynastat magnetic bond sensor (DYN), anti-tamper switch (ATS), and egress monitor (standard) with adjustable relock delay. The egress monitor can be used to shunt security alarm systems. Specify the 3006 for commercial, institutional, and industrial openings when you need free-egress and self-contained convenience.
